For better adhesion please follow these tips: 

1. Remove the protective back of the sticker and apply the decal to the spoon. Apply pressure from the centre outwards to avoid air bubbles.
2. If needed, use a utility knife to cut away the excess material.
3. If available, use a hair dryer to heat the newly applied sticker for ~20 seconds. Keep the hair dryer 1-2 inches away from the tape/spoon. Careful! Metal heats up quickly. A glove will help protect your hand.
4. Press the tape down firmly. 
5. Let your tape set overnight before submerging in water for better results.
